The Jenkins Independent Local Planning Committee will hold a public forum at 6:00 PM on Thursday March 29th at the JHMS library.

CAVS Games Cancelled Tonight

Tonight's HS Baseball game against Shelby Valley and our HS Softball game against Letcher Central have been cancelled and will be rescheduled to a later date.

Tournament All "A" 14th Region Tournament (Second Round)

We will be hosting the second round of the All "A" 14th Region Baseball and Softball Tournaments against Breathitt County, Tuesday, April 11th at 6:00PM. Admission to each event will be $5 per person.

Preschool, Headstart, Kindergarten Registration

Jenkins Independent School in collaboration with Jenkins LKLP Headstart will hold registration on April 11, 2017 from 3-5 pm.  Registration will be for next year’s preschool, Headstart and Kindergarten age children.  Registration will be held at Jenkins Elementary School. The Letcher County Health Department will be available for pre-enrollment physicals. For more information, you may contact principal Stacy Collier at Jenkins Elementary School by calling (606) 832-2711 or contact the Jenkins LKLP Headstart at (606) 832-4012.
